Chinese Storytelling/Literacy

Chinese Storytelling will be a class held two times a week that focuses on helping students work with Chinese characters and get more comfortable reading and writing Chinese.  We will be playing games, keeping journals, and having competitions during class.  Using state Chinese standards as a base this class will help your student enjoy the difficult and amazing task of reading and writing Chinese.  

Storytelling/Literacy Class will be held 12 times through June and July, 50 minutes per session.

Most Tuesday and Thursday afternoons starting on June 6th, going through the end of July 2017

Time: 1:00-1:50 p.m 

Dates: June 6th, June 8th, June 13th, June 15th, June 20th, June 22nd, June 29th,

July 3rd(Monday), July 6th, July 22nd(Saturday), July 25th, July 27th

*Minimum of eight students in order to have this class*

This class is set up for students who have been studying for a minimum of two years.  Exceptions will be made on a case by case basis.

Chinese Game Time

Chinese game time is a time for your child to come and use their Chinese in a relaxed, comfortable setting.  The games chosen are language driven and will expose your child to new vocab as well as reinforcing the core Chinese that they are learning in school.  Using a mix of both traditional Chinese games along with American games we will help your child speak Chinese more confidently and fluidly. 

Games will be held 12 times through June and July, 50 minutes per session. 

Summer fee of 60 dollars for 12 classes, or individual session fee of 8 dollars per time

This class is set up for students of any level.  If your child has absolutely no experience please let me know.
